ABOUT

William Morrison launched the gallery in 1999 with a passion for the arts, and began to attract artists from across the Northeast. Morrison's vision quickly took hold and grew, alongside the physical gallery, which became renowned for its major exhibitions in a museum-like space. The gallery’s influence has since expanded well beyond Connecticut, from working with the Broadway Mall Association and New York City Parks, to the Jing'an International Sculpture Project which hails from the historical and cultural heart of Shanghai, and other notable exhibitions across the international landscape.

Morrison Gallery has been described as "the linchpin of Litchfield County’s art scene" by The New York Times, representing large collections of national and international artists. The gallery represents important Abstract Expressionist, Pop, and American Post-War estates.

Morrison Gallery’s guiding concept is bringing the collective creativity of global artists into a modern space that inspires.
